Bullets and Romance is a 4-piece melodic rock band from Vacaville, California. The band members are: vocals & guitar, Daniel Espinoza (20); drums, Derek Diesen (24); bass guitar, Seth Mattson (20); lead guitar, Tony Ricker (19). B&R play a mixture of modern and classic alternative rock that includes memorable guitar hooks and catchy melodies that gives their music a power pop feel without overshadowing their rock and roll basis. As one of Northern California's busiest and hardest working bands, B & R plays to packed rooms throughout Northern California, and have shared the stage with many national touring acts, such as Bowling for Soup, Hawthorne Heights, Waking Ashland, The Higher, Die Trying, Letter Kills, Plain White T's, and many more. We played the local Ernie Ball Vans Warped Tour Stage in 2003 under the former name Gooser, and headlined the Sacramento Jammies in 2003, 2004 and 2005 while still in high school. We have been invited back as alumni to play the Jammies again this year. B & R released 3 independent CD's selling more than 5000 copies locally, also while still in school. Bullets and Romance recently caught the attention of Producer Brian Wheat (Tesla). Brian now manages and produces the band. We released a 6 song EP in Feb of 2006 called the "St Valentines Day Massacre" for local fans while working in development on a their first full length CD produced by Brian Wheat and Tom Zutaut ( most notably known for signing such acts as Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Tesla, Hole and more). Also involved in the project, to mix the album, is award wining engineer Michael Rosen(AFI, Papa Roach, Rancid). We have also enjoyed successful touring to So-Cal,Utah and Nevada, but more recently have stayed closer to home while working in the studio. We are currently wrapping up the final touches to a full length album to be released this spring. The live show is infectious, filling venues, and bringing fans to the front of the stage. We have enjoyed radio play and Artist of the Month recognition on several local radio markets, and several college stations. Check us out and give your feedback.
