Built to Spill is a four piece band, and was formed from Boise, Idaho. Doug Martsch the lead singer was in different bands before Built to Spill. He was with Treepeople and assisted Caustic Resin and also was in The Halo Benders. He is known for his unique style of guitar playing and huge riffs. Built to Spill was one of the top Indie bands in the 90's, but has calmed down since then. Their most favored album was "Keep It Like A Secret" which was released in the 90's. They have recently released thier new album "You in Reverse" with singles like "Going Against Your Mind" and "Conventional Wisdom". Built to Spill has a new tour coming up and for all the dates go to the bands website.
