Buattitime is an Italian band born in summer 2004
Musically speaking, the members of the band, came from different backgrounds, from britpop to electronic, from hardcore to psichedelia.
According to (????)the first 4 tracks promo called Buattitime vs. lonizers is a new melting pot between genres that have never been mixed before.
Since their first demo, Buattitime, have featured various Italian and foreign compilations. Amongst others, Chrominun Records (from Manchester ) included Nobody Else in teir The best new thing.
The band have also wrote a couple of jingles for Chrominun Records internet radio, Incognito Radio.
During the next 2 years, Buattitime, focused on strengthening their live sound, performing a number of gigs on stage with Liars, White Rose Movement, Exilia and many more.
Riccardo Paso Pasini, guitarist of the group, is also a professional sound engineer, the one who produced and recorded Buattitime. That is how came to life Buattis Eaten by a grizzly, their first full length (11 tracks) self produced album.
Its a surreal album, as you can guess by its title, and it includes indie sounds of Nobody Else, ballads like 7.16 and Eleven Level and dark influences of K-factor.






But this is not all from Buattitime. Theyve been elected band of the month by the American radio K94, Nomadism Record is getting ready with a compilation of tracks from the band, coming out next December, and last, but not least, Buattitime are working on their last tracks for their second album.
Buattitime nascono a Ravenna nell'estate 2003, un vero e proprio meltin'pot di generi (dal britpop all'elettronica, dall'hardcore alla psicadelia) conseguenza del diverso background dei componenti della band e della continua ricerca di un sound originale, che possa catturare la piu' ampia schiera di pubblico senza pero' mai risultare banale.
All'attivo hanno gia un demo promozionale, varie apparizioni su compilation locali ed estere, collaborazioni con band quali Sisthema e H-Strychnine, e numerose performace live, facendo anche da supporto a band quali White Rose Movement, Exilia . Questi nomi fanno intuire l'ecletticità della band.
Eaten by a Grizzly e' il primo full-lenght dei Buatti, ha richiesto un lungo periodo di gestazione in quanto e' frutto di una totale autoproduzione da parte della band. Il nuovo mercato discografico, l'utilizzo della rete e i nuovi sistemi per promuovere la propria musica, hanno spinto i quattro ragazzi alla decisione di rimanere completamente indipendenti.
Eaten by a Grizzly racchiude 11 tracce, ognuna rappresenta una sfumatura del sound totale, si passa da sonorita' tipicamente indie di "Nobody Else" (scelto dalla band come primo singolo) a sfuriate lisergiche alla Chemical Brothers di "W.S.P." Passando poi per ballate come "7.16" e "Eleven Level" per approdare negli scorci dark di "K-Factor".
Il titolo del disco lascia intuire che il collante di tutto questo e' una decisa dose di surrealità.
Il pezzo "Nobody Else" (in versione demo) è apparso nella compilation "The Best New Thing" edito dall'etichetta Chrominum Records di Manchester (UK) con ottimi riscontri, tanto che la radio "Incognito Radio" sempre di Manchester ha commissionato il suo nuovo jingle promozionale alla band.
