Members: Bryce Larsen
Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Bryce Larsen moved with his family at age 7 to Long Island, NY, where he learned to play mostly through his own compositions, and thus developed a very unique rhythm-oriented style of guitar that is a conglomeration of rock and R&B styles.
During his college years, (he studied at Rutgers University and graduated from the CW Post Campus of Long Island University with a degree in music) Bryce spent almost all of his free time touring as the frontman of the horn-laden rock band Stealing Jane, honing his skills in songwriting (and co-writing), arrangement, production, and performance.
Bryce Larsen is now a singer/songwriter who calls the road his home. He will often set off driving with little direction except to visit towns, small and large, that he's never seen. These trips often find him performing last minute concerts in all sorts of public places, bars and venues. At home, in New York City, he certainly finds himself in an environment that fosters his creativity, and provides him with innumerable opportunities to share his talent. His inspiration comes from his own experiences as well as stories and music from friends and strangers he has met along the way.
Most nights, you can find Bryce performing solo with his Martin 000-16C that has been with him from the beginning. He loves nothing more than to be on stage, whether he is performing covers that he truly makes his own, or songs he has written which are often compared to the work of Marc Broussard, John Mayer, the band Sublime, and Dave Matthews.
With three fully produced albums with past bands, and two solo releases to date (the original full length "Sport of Kings" and the collection of cover songs "Hip Hop Un-Popped"), Bryce is certainly creating a tradition of quality, growth, and originality that he will most certainly continue and top with his current project, more than two years in the making. He has been writing and working with friends all over the country to put together a collection of professionally produced and recorded songs that will definitely bring him into the spotlight very soon, while his prolific writing and constantly evolving style will keep him there for years to come.
