Brother Love Kain was founded in Osnabrueck by Sascha, Florian and Michael in Oct. 2004. In Dec. 2005 Marius joined the band as second guitarist.
All 4 band members are well experienced in making music and with performing on stage.
Sascha und Marius were the head and mind of the death-metal band Morbus for years. They played all over germany with bands like Crowbar, Edge of Sanity, Disfear, etc. Their self-produced CD "Zwinger" and the CD "Leibeigen" which was produced by Andy Claasen and published by "Godz Greed Recordings", was sold about a few thousand times.

Michael and Florian played in the hardcore formation Fallow and recorded the Demo "Be quiet...consume". They played several shows all over germany with bands like Morning Again and As Friends Rust.

All Members played in different bands and projects until they got together as Brother Love Kain. Their style is difficult to describe. An angry-screaming voice and down-tuned guitars are combined with melancholic melodies and beats in doom-style. Well thought song structures and bitter lyrics, without clichs display an independent and mature band.

In August '06 Brother Love Kain released their self-produced demo "In The End Everything Starts To Begin" which was recorded in just one day in April and therefore had to be cut down to only 4 songs. Though, the quality is sufficient to get an idea of the type of music.
The demo is just an overview of the entire program.
Currently we are intending to record a full length album in end of 2007.
