BROKEN BREAD

Broken Bread is a Christian/Folk band from the foothills of North Carolina. The name comes from a quote in Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost for His Highest," where Pastor Chambers states when talking about the call of God, "This call has nothing to do with personal sanctification, but with being made broken bread and poured out wine." They have chosen the label Folk because of the style and diversity they strive for. The lyrics are honest and express life through the eyes of faith.
The band is made up of three members: Eddie on guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Melissa on vocals; and Elisabeth on guitar, tambourine, and vocals. All are involved in the writing process. The goal of Broken Bread is to share their faith and how God has blessed them through the struggles in life that they have faced together.
