Volume 11 Tavern

"Wow, that country boy can really project... like Jim Morrison being pumped through a megaphone at full volume. Jonny Jernegan is the most powerful vocalist that I know. Less sporadic and more fluid than his performances with Iconoclast / Burning Umberella, with Broadslab he displays a more focused and controlled sense of urgency and aggression. He also has furthered versatility with smooth parts as he alternates between those and bringing forth deep growls and piercing screams."
"Cody and Eddie's dual guitar onslaught turned many eyes in the crowd to their fretboards and hands. As always Cody's playing was electric running through the ears and into the overloaded musical receptors in the onlookers' heads. Allen provided a sturdy backbone and a smooth groove for the rest of the group to fall into. The always tasteful and technically demanding drumming of Jason Stanley reverberated through Volume 11 even after the show had past. I couldn't break my attention from watching his every move on the kit. Sarah was right on the whole way through adding an element of space and depth through her keys. All members also provided backup vocals that added another sweet layer to the group."
"All in all, Broadslab is definately a show you may not want to miss. For a heavy vintage influenced sound, they take you for a ride. I was impressed with their performance and can't wait to hear where they move forward to. I even hear they may begin working with a local production company in addition to the one that has been supporting them thus far. Best of wishes to them with that, I'm sure they'll be more than just successful."
