Hey Ladies and Gents,
If you've been following the band I'm sure that you've noticed the small number of shows, new posts, etc...and if you didn't figure it out, Pam and I curently live in different states. However, Pam is moving to Colorado in June! We are both going to be going back into touring mode this summer and then hopefully get some recording done in the fall.
We have also signed a drummer, so please welcome Dereck Ostdahl officially to the Brittney Jeanne family. The change is one that Pam and I feel Brittney Jeanne needs to move from coffee shops to larger venues. Dereck (aka D-rock), is actually a former hardcore drummer from North Dakota who just moved down to Colorado to play music with us...and college and stuff too I guess. He has toned his intense double bass pedal drumming and insane riffs down to a little bit more gentle Brittney Jeanne feel, but the feel is unique and tastey to listen to. Hoepfully some of you can stop by a show and see how we did picking out our newest member.
Anyways, thanks for your loyalty and support. Pam, D-rock, and I feel so lucky to have fans like you guys. Keep rocking.

Hey Everybody!!!
It's me Britt again just leaving another BLOG. Anyways...tomarrow I leave for Colorado officially and I am pretty damn excited. Hopefully in about a month I will get a few shows booked out there and Brittney Jeanne will continue on. Pam will be moving out to Colorado next summer to join back up and Brittney Jeanne will be welcoming a drummer to the band named Dereck. Hopefully we can get him on a few tracks soon. I know that some of you are upset that Brittney Jeanne is no longer going to be a chick band...but to tell you the truth most chick bands drive me crazy. Dereck is one of the best unsigned drummers I've heard in a long time so everybody be nice to the newbie.
Keep sending people over to the site please. If you are a new fan or friend WELCOME...if you haven't become a fan or friend yet please do. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls.....
Alright...so I am finally in motion. There are 5 newly recorded songs on the website now. The Constant Sound and Down She Goes are new songs that most of you haven't heard unless you were at our last show. The other 3 are re-recorded songs that did suck and now actually resemble real songs... Hold Your Tounge, Not Forget Her, Out of Sight Out of Mind.
Enjoy them ok!!! You guys take care and leave feedback (as long as it's positive).

Hey everybody...
If you haven't heard the news yet I will be the first to tell you. I am moving to Colorado for college while Pam stays in Virginia for another year before she moves out. The demo should still be done by the end of the summer, but sadly it will only be me and a whole lot of greatly recorded acoustic guitar and harmonica until next year. Next year when Pam gets to Colorado we will be releasing the full length debut album, but to hold you off until then you will be able to purchase the rare acoustic stuff for a short period of time.
Pam and I have also been recieving a lot of emails about her and I going of tour this summer...well I've got some more bad news. Because I am helping my parents move this summer as well Pam and I will not be going on tour THIS SUMMER but don't loose hope for future summers. The good news is that even though I am moving Brittney Jeanne is NOT breaking up. Pam and I will keep writing and colaborating until you don't want to hear us anymore (hopefully never).
I've got some more good news too...I will be releasing NEVER BEFORE HEARD tracks online in a few weeks so look out for them. I will try to alert you all to when they are there, but just keep checking back, sending people to the site, and being awsome. Until then all of you stay out of trouble and take care.

I know that this has nothing to do with anything...but please email me if you know what BLOG means. I was openly laughing about the word to myself recently and I need some closure. I hope that Pam doesn't see this BLOG and beat me up, she does that you know. teehehehe
