The breath before a fall; the blink before a tear; the calm before the crash -- the capture of these moments; the mystery and brutal honesty that surround them, serve as a perfect parallel to the motivation behind Brink of Something Beautiful.

Brink of Something Beautiful has no identity. Often playing on both sides of the spectrum, the band can be aggressive yet contemplative, heavy yet melodic; transparent yet complicated.

They are a cohesive unit with the ability to bring brutality and beauty together in a sort of symbiotic relationship. Armed with this ability and their desire for something greater, the band was finally on the brink of something beautiful.

Brink of Something Beautiful has just finished their first album, Doctrine of Ethos, debuting in March 2008.

Allied Victories and Fallen Soldiers

It's been a while since I've written one of these (in case you haven't noticed). There's a lot of news surrounding the band. Take for example the new promo pics! Yeah we're pretty excited about those. We want to thank our friend Chantal Harper for the great job she did with those. On top of that, we've started writing again and have two new songs in the works at the moment. They are all going towards the album we plan on releasing around May or June so look out for that. We'll definitely be updating you guys on that.

We also have a bunch of new shows coming up. We NEED all of your support. These are some pretty big shows. The Tobacco Road show is featuring two out of state signed bands and ourselves so we really want to impress everybody there. On top of that we're playing two charity events at the University of Miami -- Applause for a Cause, where we are playing for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Live Aid For Lebanon. Finally, we're playing our first ever Battle of the Bands, hosted by Emergency Room Productions. We need all your support so we can show the Miami Scene that we're not just some other band that strums the same three notes over and over, so we definitely want to see all you guys at each and every show (Think of how many people you'll help and you'll still great to see a bunch of great bands!).

Onto something of extreme importance...

Life is war and with that said, Brink of Something Beautiful suffered it's first casualty. On October 27th, at Churchill's Pub, the band will be playing their first show without Benny V. For now we will carry on as a five piece band but Benny V. will always be a friend to us and we know he'll be right there supporting us all the way through. Thank you Benny V. for all you've done and brought to this band. It won't ever be forgotten.

Well thats all I gotta say about what's going on with the band....welll there's one more thing I could mention...Coming soon, Brink of Something Beautiful will be making a weekly Youtube show about the making of our new album and how we prepare for shows and shit. If anything you'll get a few chuckles, see how we manage shit and get a taste of who we are. ANYWAY, as always leave comments, show us love and break shit at our shows. PWNAGE!
