"A powerful message of purity, servant-hood and seeking the will of God in the everyday life of relationships, struggles, and blessings." These are just a few words to describe the empowered "girl rock" of Bright Light Parade. Lyrical forays into the depths of teen life through a Christian perspective are the anthem of sisters Lex and Torre Anderson. Their latest effort, titled The Heart Ballet, accurately describes the dance of emotion, both spiritual, and relational, through the perspective of one pursuing growth in following Christ.
Bright Light Parade has played countless shows throughout the United States and Mexico. In 2009, they will be launching a series of tours in promotion of The Heart Ballet. Endorsed by Daisy Rock guitars and jointly allied with both World Vision and World View Warriors, this group has made its way accentuated by their family bond and the support of a devoted fan base.
Keep Bright Light Parade in your sites and be sure to pickup a copy of The Heart Ballet. Stay Tuned as their self described "sugar-rock buzz with a caffeine kick" comes to a venue near you.
Alive Magazine August 2008 -
"Honest lyrics [telling] a much deeper message of the struggle to live counter-culturally in a society that tells young people what to believe and how to live."
