THE POETRY CORNER. thats right. the poetry corner. featuring sean weinert. an amazing person with a huge heart. he wrote this poem... my favorite poem. and i get the chills everytime i read it, i absolutely had to post this for everyone to read:

the boy with the plastic heart
and lifeless aluminum eyes
went to bed everynight
listening to the lies from his little toy robot
who could not read the poetry
the little boy wrote for him
expressing all his mourning
writing songs on guitars
pen scratching and defacing the wood
expressing all the feelings
no one ever could
he's got the letter she wrote
and she's got his song
and when she came to see his face
she was forced to say so long
the earth was so much closer
to the moon and to the sun
then our little heartless boy
was to anyone
so he picked up a mail order catalouge
looking through all the things
trying to find what he dreamed about
and found a pair of brand new wings
when his package finnally arrived
he strapped them on his back
he swore that he would fly and soar
and never ever look back
so when the time came to fly
he ran and took a leap
but....to his surprise...
he fell into the street
so our little boy returned to his home
in one terrible mood
went to bed with his robot friend and whispered
its been nice waking up next to you.
