Members: Brendan Benson (g, voc, bass, keyb, dr)
Brendan Benson is a solo artist based in Nashville, TN. He's made three albums, "One Mississippi", "Lapalco", and "The Alternative To Love", plus a slew of singles and E.P.s, most of which are available for purchase online and, quite possibly, at your local record store. He also has produced and/or worked on records by The Greenhornes, The Whirlwind Heat, The Waxwings, and The Muldoons. He's also in The Raconteurs (theraconteurs.com), along with Jack White (The White Stripes), Patrick Keeler (The Greenhornes) and Jack Lawrence (The Greenhornes). "Broken Boy Soldiers" is the Racs' debut album and is available thru the usual channels. Oh yeah, and he's on the new Stooges record, "The Weirdness", singing back up on a song called "Free and Freaky".

sorry for such a large comment, but here goes: Save All-Ages Music Clubs! Today I went to The Great American Music Hall's website to check how much tickets were for a Brendan Benson concert next month. Directly on the front page I saw "HELP SAVE ALL AGES MUSIC VENUES IN SF!" which confused me a bit seeing how Slim's, Great American Music Hall, Bottom of The Hill, Fillmore, Cafe du Nord, etc. are all still in buisness. But I clicked it anyways and it turns out these LEGENDARY All-Age music clubs may be closed down by the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) because the ABC "continues to impose rules that club attorneys argue are legally questionable and often unrelated to booze or safety issues." -SF Gate how retarded is that?!!? If you want to help fight the ABC in closing these EPIC All-Age music clubs, go to this page and help keep the legendary San Francisco music clubs in buisness! http://www.slims-sf.com/abcupdate.html can you imagine San Francisco without Slims?!!?!?
