Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time out of their lives to listen to our music. I apologize for the lack of updates on here, and I apologize for just vanishing out of thin air for a period.
There comes a point in everyone's life where one needs to stop and reevaluate what they've been doing. Life happens, and it doesn't always happen how we want it to. If I had my way, we'd be playing music together every day of the week, but the demands of society make it too difficult to make a living doing what we enjoy more than anything else.
That's why I regret to inform you that we as Break Out The Shotguns will not be performing live anymore. We have been sitting on several new songs for a long while, but we just haven't had the time and energy to give it our full attention. As a completely DIY band, it became too difficult to maintain any sense of continuity among ourselves. We're still all great friends, and there's no hard feelings anywhere. It's just time for us to move on.
Thanks again to anyone who came to a show, bought a shirt, or shared our music with your friends - you are the people who made our days for weeks on end. To all the people who we met on Myspace, Purevolume, or chatted with on Skype or AIM, we won't forget you. I am so thankful for an incredibly supportive backbone of people that we've experienced throughout our run - you are the people who keep the DIY culture alive.

We won't be able to get ALL of the original members back, but I'd really like to resurrect BOTSG again just to show you guys what we were working on before we took a break! If there's enough demand for it, I might post some clips.
