breakmyfall was created by two friends by the name of Paul Bonilla and Ian Shaw, for their 8th grade talent show, and Justin, Pauls little brother, said he would play with them. Ian [few years afterwards] moved out of state and breakmyfall was without a guitarist for a while. An older friend they knew, Cory Forbrook, started jammin' with them for a while until about the summer of 2009 when he couldn't make it to shows because his police work got in the way. by that time Paul, & Justin formed a band with Kenan Shalz and another friend Mikey Sanchez [leaving Kenan to be the only non-mexican person in the group.] They formed a band called the ThunderMonkeys [later to be named Red Letter Day and then changed back to the ThunderMonkeys for their last show.] breakmyfall, at this point was at lack of a lead guitarist and back-up vocalist when they had their friend Kenan practice with them for their debut album release of Across the Burning Skyline. After that they decided they kind of liked this kid and, so far, kept him as the guitarist of breakmyfall.
