Aloha!

The following has mostly filled the past few weeks:

Firstly, eleven:eleven is being mixed, re-mixed, re-recorded and re-mixed again, all to great effect. We've added some piano, tambourine, and the contrasting noises of JD's nose into the blender, and the resulting smoothie of music is quite delicious! The EP is set for independent release in April (6 months behind schedule), and the tracklisting looks to be as follows;

1. For You
2. You Don't Know
3. Ginger
4. Never See Me Again
5. Love Me

There MAY also be a download-only 'single' appearing on our web-spaces soonish, which won't be on eleven:eleven, so it'll be as rare as cream eggs are 90% of the year. There may not be though, we just don't know! Can you imagine what it's like to live in such relentless limbo? That's right, very sexy.

To coincide with this monstrocity of a debut, we're also giving out a free CD with the first 100 copies of the EP (yes, we do intend to distribute more 100 copies!) entitled '12 Song That Made Us Who We Are'. It's a scrapbook of the juxtapositions which influence each of us in what we do, hand picked by each band member themselves (for those of you with a maths qualification, that's 3 songs each).

There are also plans in the pipeline for some kind of launch-shindig with the aid of a few of our band-friends, but we're not promising anything. This is primarily due to the fact we're all lazy and afraid no one would show up to such an event (only one of those reasons is true, we'll leave it up to your discretion).

Recently, we've hooked up (slept with) a local photographer, who, after hours of bribery and torture by toothpick agreed to help us with some promotional pictures for the EP. She's very good indeed (and her pictures aren't too bad either! Hurrah!), so we're looking forward to how that turns out. The theme will be.colours.

What else? We'd like to thank the people who have attended our shows recently, you seem to look more radiant everytime. There's been a lack of our faces around town, which is rare indeed for us, so make the most of it! We plan to promote the EP further afield once it's out, including shows in Liverpool, Brighton and London to name but three. More, as always, when we hear it.

In other news, Joe's Playstation broke, resulting in a painful lack of FIFA these past few days, Pizz is trapped in a cabinet, and contrary to what the Boosh may suggest, the likelihood of him getting out anytime soon is slim to none. JD's still sporting a cardigan, and Duff has been courting various members of the female population, with varying degrees of success. If you would like to apply for the position of his girlfriend/stylist/money-lender, send your CV to the usual address.

Finally, we'd also like to congratulate those of our friends who have been coming of age recently; it's a very exciting time indeed. Now stop being so tight-fisted at the bar, we're musicians not physicians!

That's really all we have to say today, aren't we exciting?!
