Brandon Ruck is a 32 year old singer-songwriter from Tampa, Florida. A songwriter, singer and guitarist for the better half of his life, it's really only within the last year that he has found his place at a microphone with just an acoustic guitar. The singer-songwriter style is perfectly suited to the emotional tales he has to tell. The list of influences he will rattle off when asked (Bruce Springsteen, Bjork, Counting Crows, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, The Shins, Nick Drake, Rusted Root, Led Zeppelin, Elliott Smith, Jimi Hendrix, you get the picture) leads to one possible conclusion: Brandon Ruck sounds like both everything else and nothing else at once. Brandon Ruck sounds like Brandon Ruck.

"Lesser Of Two Evils", a song I wrote about the frustration that many face come election time, when you feel like voting is the right thing to do but no matter who you vote for you're still voting for a "politician" and you feel like whoever you choose is going to be the lesser of two evils is now on Neil Young's Living With War Today website. Please stop by once in a while and click on it. It is currently number 97 out of 2262. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and gave it a click. Further clicking will also be greatly appreciated. While you are there click on a few others, like local singer-songwriter Steve Vaclavik's "I've Lost All Faith" which is at 62, and also other Tampa Bay Area artists like Freemont John, Leigh Humes, Meyer Baron, Betty's Not a Vitamin, Bill and Eli Perras and James Hawkins.
