I gave myself a mohawk.

I just thought you guys should know that I gave myself a mohawk. At first I was just gonna sport it during Spring Hill camp but I have since decided that it's gonna be my new daddy look. I'm going home to see my mom next week too! She's gonna hate it. In around four weeks we're gonna be finished with the record. Running Out of Time

Well. It's August 1st and we're running out of time. Yesterday we tracked guitars for two songs...one being a new song we recently started playing titled "You Are the Same". Things came together quite nicely. In a nutshell the recording was very "experimental". At one point Dan, Jimmy, and myself were all involved in playing one guitar. Eight Guitarists in One Room

Today was a guitar day. Nate, John, Steve, Andrew, Adam, Phil, Jimmy and myself were all packed into a small room and we spent five hours creating, laughing, and just having a great time. I was reminded today of how fortunate I am to have so many great friendships. It was so wonderful today to make music, dream up guitar parts, and just be together. Hello friends. I apologize for not posting more recently. I have been away from home most of May. First off, Wes, myself, and a few of our friends traveled to Erfurt, Germany at the beginning of this month. We gathered in worship with 3500 high school students and youth leaders. It was absolutely amazing! God is truly at work among the young people of Germany and across Europe. Today we did a little bit of acoustic guitars and a whole lot of vocals. For some reason, I hate listening to myself sing. I hear every little crack, every little pitch problem, and I just obsess over it. Of course, my producer, Jimmy, has a pitch corrector. If you don't know what that is, let me explain.
