I'm sitting here in the dining room w/ Stella. She's eating cheerios. I'm drinking coffee. Mom usually gets to sleep in on Saturdays but she had a meeting or something to attend. (I should say, "Mom", is actually my wife and Stella is my daughter. Otherwise it would sound like I still live with my mom...not that there is anything "wrong" with living with your mom when your my age.) This week has been good in the music realm. Happy belated Labor Day. I tried to wake board again this weekend, but I still suck at anything having to do with balance. I've only been out in the sun like three times this summer....and now I wish I would have gotten out more. We're in Nate's basement today recording demos for a couple new songs: "Brighter" and "Arms of Mercy". So far so good. I'm all amped up today, because today, Elevate - the faith community that I'm a part of, is kicking off the new school year and I'll see all sorts of people that I haven't seen all summer. Maybe you'll be there this weekend? Also, there's this show on tv that I watch with my kid. It's called Yo Gabba Gabba. Has anyone seen this thing? It's wacky man.
