New Single February 13th - Plus Headline Tour
Its not so much a case of most likely to. Boy Kill Boy are being talked about as rocks most definitely going to. - NME
London quartet Boy Kill Boy release their debut Vertigo single, Back Again, on February 13th 2006. The band, who have just finished a major UK tour with Hard Fi, will also be setting out on a series of headline dates to celebrate the singles release.
Back Again is the first track to be completed for Boy Kill Boys due-next-May debut album- currently a work-in-progress with producer John Cornfield (Muse, Razorlight, Supergrass). It will be made available on CD and 7 featuring the title track plus Cheaper (CD) and Number One (7). An additional, very tasty gatefold 7 will also be exclusively available to fans registered at www.boykillboy.com, and will feature Back Again b/w In Disgrace.
Described by NME recently as like The Smiths splitting half a disco biscuit with Hard-Fi in the Hacienda gents (a delightful image, we think youll agree), Boy Kill Boy have already been causing quite a stir among those in-the-know. With the limited edition Fierce Panda release of a brace of singles which were hammered by Zane-Lowe, Steve Lamacq and XFM (who invited the band to play at their Christmas shindig), and live shows around the capital and on dates with the afore-mentioned Hard-Fi and New Order (at Hyde Park), Boy Kill Boy also ignited the passions of the crowd at Reading Festival, to the extent that they were picked out by both NME and The Guardian as one of the highlights of the weekend.
Back Again has already been crowned Hottest Track in the World Today by Zane Lowe a full two months ahead of its release and the band have bagged a T4 performance, also. See for yourself why these people have their knickers in such a twist about the group at these shows (Boy Kill Boy headline all shows except where otherwise indicated) :
Boy Kill Boy: Chris Peck (vocals, guitar), Peter Carr (keyboards), Kevin Chase (bass), Shaz (drums).
