Bongkote Hudson Releases New Worship Album

White Lotus Worship
Music has announced the new Thai release "Above The Earth", Bongkote 3 (Neua Loka)... All new original Thai worship songs by the Thai worship leader who penned the #1 song in the Thai churches for 2005, "I Will Love and Adore" (Kha Ca Rak Le Bucha). This is the third worship album by singer/songwriter Bongkote "Yam" Hudson (5th overall), and carries a passionate call to the nation of Thailand to "come and meet" with God. The heart and message behind this album is to "lift God above everything". From the uplifting pop-rock songs "Above The Earth", "Give Thanks", and "The Lord's Love" to the traditional Thai/western pop fusion of "Surrender", and "My Heart", this album follows in the footsteps of the last two, offering a unique variety of modern praise, worship and inspirational songs in catchy arrangements. Bongkote and Paul take the traditional Thai instruments, such as the So Duang and Rannad Ek, and traditional Thai styles of singing and boldly fuse them with familiar western instruments and styles, reminding the Thai church to not forget the deep heritage of their Asian culture, as western influence becomes more dominant. These songs are %100 Thai, and Bongkote delivers the worshipful vocals beautifully in her own 5 toned language.

Yam (Bongkote) Hudson began writing most of the songs for this album around June of 2005, with the exception of "Duang Cai Khong Kha" (My Heart), which she wrote in 2003. The concept that she was writing for was to "call the nation of Thailand back to God."

The song "Yak ca hen" (I want to see) was initially a spontaneous chorus that Yam started to sing as she was leading a time of intercession and worship during a conference gathering in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The presence of God came very strongly with compassion and deep conviction during the spontaneous singing, prompting the 100+ gathering to cry out for Gods mercy on the nation. The Spirit of prophecy rested on Yam and others in the congregation as well, speaking out a sobering call to holiness and humility. This spontaneous chorus and the message that God spoke with it continuously rang in both Yam and Pauls ears for several weeks after the gathering, so they decided to sit at the piano together and finish the rest of the song. The completed song is a small representation of the passion that overcame many during that evening of intercession, worship and prophetic exhortations.
