Salutations,
After a delightful winter break, we are gearing up to begin recording our next album with Chris Rossi of Spacelab Studios (www.spacelabstudio.com). We're pretty excited about this, especially since Chris enjoys snow skiing. To everyone out there who has seen us play the same 5 songs for every concert, thanks for holding out, and you will be pleased to know we have several new tunes written and ready to go. We have a demo acoustic version of 'Julian of Norwich' in the above player. More demos to come later.
Check back here, myspace.com/bombadil, or www.bombadilmusic.com for the latest stuff. As always, log in, log out.

Playing a style that falls somewhere between 1960s pop and early Americana, Bombadils sound has been described as Ray Charles meets Jerry Lee Lewis to rock out at Elvis Costellos house and North Carolina mountain church music". Whether they are recounting the madness of Bolivian train rides, narrating the final days of a vessel lost at sea, or pioneering a new genre of music called "stompgrass, Bombadils sound is always one of youthful exuberance. This energy is captured best in their live show, where the line between performer and audience is often blurred. Lamp stands instead of mic stands, kazoo solos with resonant bellows, and with more suspenders than your grandmother's attic...this is BOMBADIL.
