2-12-07: Long time no write! So much has kept me from commenting! After winning the aforementioned KCQ contest they flew me down to Nashville, TN. to hang out with Reba McIntyre's band in Martina McBride's newly renovated Blackbird Studios. 3-2-06: NEW SONG! Concrete Box is a little ditty about college life. Featuring Me on guitar, keys and vocals, with percussion by Jeff Wright and guest vocal appearances by Matt Myer and Jeff Wright. Dig it!

1-10-06: Waiting for new material? Coming soon! I've taken some time off from the bar gigs (and other running around, for that matter) to get some new stuff down on (digital) tape. Its time to get the ideas out of my head and into reality....then hopefully into your ear canals!

20 year old Bobby Standal is quickly becoming known as a "consistantly great" singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Recorded on a shoestring budget in a Western Michigan University dorm, Bobby's songs tell the truth about his life and the people in it. Although "bandless", Bobby fills his songs with sound by playing all the instruments on his recordings himself.
Bobby has been a feature performer in venues all over Michigan, and his songs have been listened to and appreciated by people of every age and orientation.
