Blunt, originally created by its lead singer and composer Luis Felipe Caicedo in Gttingen, Germany on 2001, had its debut
EP, Im not Californian, from which its first release Find my way reached the number 1 position on the top 20 chart on the most important rock station, 100.5, of the Colombian second biggest city, Cali, the place where the band acquired its definite 4-man ensemble with David Z. on drums, Daniel Aristizabal on lead guitar and Juan Giraldo on rhythmic guitar. The video clip of
their first Single release is what brought Blunt to national fame
in 2006. Their style, by them defined as the Alternative beach Sound is a mix of alternative rock, melodic punk, reggae and jazz. The lyrics are oriented to cause social consciousness through
a very poetic and deep way. They intend as soon as possible to start a foundation for the relief of the homeless and sick population of their home country, Colombia.
