blow up hollywood was launched on a winter night in a beach house in West Hampton, New York. For three weeks, with their well worn tape machines and studio equipment, they wrote and recorded what was to become their first CD simply entitled blow up hollywood. The album gained critical acclaim and the band went on to record their second effort, "Fake" which has been hailed by critics as a masterpiece.
blow up hollywood have just released Stars End, an improvised 40 minute musical experiment that was recorded live from the WXPN radio studios in Philadelphia in November of 2004.
