We will be uploading some new music shortly, as of now we already have two new tracks that are almost done and will be uploaded as soon as they are mixed and etc. Yet with full time jobs and school being open once again, we really dont know when those two tracks will get mixed/uploaded, so hang tight and as always keep on checking out this page from time to time for new uploads.
Red Sky and Wet Feet are the two most recent uploads. Red Sky was inspired by a good friend of ours; the inspiration led Samir Khan to come up with this punchy instrumental called Red Sky. Wet Feet; is yet another instrumental that was recorded very spontaneously (sort of on the spot). The name wet feet refers to the fact that we are just getting our feet wet in the world of instrumental music, as there is still so much to learn.

Miles Away
The story behind this instrumental goes back to a day when we were jamming to Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Samir started playing something else around the same chord progression which sounded really cool and I started soloing over it. This gave birth to our A-minor jams; since we would often jam to something that would be in the key of A-minor. Then when it came time to record something, we thought why not do something that's in A-minor.
The recording process of this song was really unusual. I went over to Samir's house to record something not knowing what it was going to be, other than the fact that it was going to be in the key of A-minor. Plus I only had an hour to record due to some personal reasons. Since we were short on time, Samir thought that I should record my two solo tracks and later on he would lay some rhythm tracks over it and etc. A week later I was very surprised by what Samir had done to it, he transformed it into this thing I like to call Miles Away.
(This track has not yet been uploaded, since Samir still needs to add some magical touches to it, though by the end of the summer swing back to this site to check it out)

Recently I was talking to someone who paid close to 200 bucks for a Cold Play ticket and that person thought that it was damn worth it. I had not much to say to this person because after all; just as the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the value is in the mind of the valuer. We all value different things, that's a fact though the sad part of this fact is that the true ones who really deserve to be valued majority of time end up on the losing end. For example; we all know who the Back Street Boys are yet how many of us know who Shawn Lane is?
It could be because people these days think of music as a form of entertainment and for majority of the people it's just like watching a movie or going to a Football game. So I guess we are the ones who are the real fools, who value music to be this great thing that we can not live without. Maybe that is why I get so pissed when I see these people who posses no musical talent; making it big. While you have people like Shawn Lane; who spend their entire life mastering an instrument and yet no one seems to give a damn about them.
Most of the mainstream music these days is made up of very untalented people and it seems as if being untalented is the new cool thing, if you are a musician than you know what I am talking about. It's not a big deal to play some chords and write a song about how you were abused by your parents or how you love someone, though it is a big deal to know your instrument inside out. So how many bands do you hear on the radio these days whose members know their instruments inside out? Even the idea of having guitar solos in a rock song, has faded out. Most of us don't care about the artistic values of an artist, all we care about are the killer beats or the cheesy lyrics and that is clearly understandable since the mainstream market is driven by teenage girls or people who have the mind of a teenage girl when it comes to music.
