Blithe-without thought or regard; carefree; heedless
Blithe is a band from round rock texas. Most of us have been playing together ever since we learned to play our instruments, we've all been in many different "garage" bands together. Our style ranges anything from blues to progressive metal. Blithe was originally formed by guitarist Jeff Macaluso and bassist Chris White. They were looking to start a blues band with Drummer Haval Karim. Haval then brought in keyboardist/vocalist Mark Coladanato and they formed what was originally a blues band known as "Jeff and the Jailbirds." After a few unsuccesful attempts to find a a second guitarist Chris invited guitarist Alex Liou, who had been in both eclipsed mind and enmity with Chris and Jeff, to a practice. Alex was asked to join the band after that practice. Alex brings a more hard rock/metal approach to things. Right now we have no one specific genre and we just kind go with the flow, hence the name blithe. We hope you enjoy our music.
