Influenced mainly by hardcore, punk, metal and mainstream hard rock, BleedingORANGE's sound also reaches the more recent waves of post hardcore, emo and indie rock. Like many of their peers, they have given up on labeling the type of music they do. Starting out as a relatively straightforward new metal band, there are now too many influences to fit them into one specific niche. Furthermore, their approach to songwriting is one of constant renewal and exploration. Each new song features new rhythms, time signatures, harmonic structure and vocal development. Far from the formula writing of many hard rock bands, bleedingORANGE knows the importance of being open and constructive to write compelling and original material.

As for their live performance, bleedingORANGE's experience has brought them presence and energy beyond compare. Preferring camaraderie, humor and contact with the audience over attitude and black t-shirts, the live show packs a punch and a punchline. Most will agree that seeing this band live brings much more urgency and passion to their masterful recordings, the latest of which has attracted much attention on the local Montreal scene.
