We changed our BAND NAME!!!!!

Background:
Blatant Avenue began when David started taking guitar lessons in the tenth grade of High School. Ryann was in the eleventh grade playing the drums and Anthony (Patty) who was a senior in high school just wanted an avenue to play the bass. Since we were all really good friends and spent the entire summer together, we decided to start a band, the name was "NABOTHS VINEYARD!" We did virtually nothing, except play for Anthony's younger brother's birthday party, Our own version of "Happy Birthday". The Band then fizzled because Anthony spent to much time with his girlfriend, and both David and Ryann quit taking lessons. One year later, the summer after Ryann's graduation, David got together with two girls and just started playing a few songs at youth services. Ryann soon followed David and started playing guitar for the newly formed band, and when all was said and done, David was playing bass and they had picked up another drummer. This group known as "All in Honesty", made quick progress with local fans, started playing local shows, and even had a sample cd finished within the first month of being together; meanwhile Anthony kept himself busy playing bass for Great Lakes University. In the summer of 2006, All in Honesty was asked to play at a show and they majority of the band was unable to make it. Ryann and David really wanted to go, so they got together with Anthony and started writing thier own stuff. Now known as Blatant Avenue, Ryann was playing guitar and singing lead vocals, while David took his role behind the drum set and Patty continued rockin' out the bass. Blatant Avenue has played all over Michigan and is planning this summer to do some touring, we've finished a demo cd and are on the verge of releasing our new EP "What Once Was". But before we take that next step the band has gone through another change with the loss of Anthony as their bassist and redirected their sound to an acoustic/alternative. So although things are constantly changing BA is still here and still rocking, with a new EP on the way and some new acoustic material. Stay tuned and God Bless!
-Ryann (BA)

You guys are really good. I really love your music. It is so uplifting. I was wondering do you let anyone play your music and say that you guys wrote it. Because my boyfriend and I do have worship nights, and I love your music and I would love to sing a few of your songs and are worship night. I also think you guys should make a CD. You guys can go places with your music. God Bless and keep the good work up. Nov 06
