We are Black Tidings. We originated from Florence: a place where not many people have done HUGE things. However, we host some of the greatest musicians etc. No one exactly founded our band, we all joined together to have fun and cut a few CD's. The hardest part however, was figuring out what everyone was going to play. Originally, we decided Tom was bassist and Peter was guitarist. But they made a change among themselves. We also spent some time figuring out genres- even considered incorporating rap! But seeing as none of us CAN rap, we decided to stick with Alternative and other disputed subgenres. In our intial stage, we spent time pondering a name-but then we focused more on music, got somewhere, and our name came out of our sound. To complete stage one, we found a manager who is hardworking, and luckily has some local connections. We recently added another member and although they won't be helping us instrumentally, the will be helping us lyric wise and music wise. We'll be keeping youi posted on upcoming shows, that you may be able to attend if you are in the Florence area. Until then everyone!
