The newly named Black Tangerine is set to sting Portland's club scene with its sweet, sour and slightly dark twist on Rock 'n' Roll. With heavy doses of Retro Rock, Black Tangerine has a bite that leaves its mark on your musical palate, combining a melodically memorable array of pop styles from the 70's through to this century into a potent cocktail of Americana, Brit Pop – and fun.
New Wave and stadium rock from the 70's and 80's. Power pop from the First Decade of the New Millennium and alt rock and soaring pop sensibilities from the 90's. The recipe is fresh and tempting – irresistible to pluck off the vine. You'll savor every wondrous poppy phrase, every moment on the dance floor.
This was the legacy of the popular band called Water, now having grown into a new and delicious Rock 'n' delicacy: Black Tangerine.
