Formed in 2004 after numerous changes in the band's line up- emerged the 5 piece metal masterpiece known as Black Ritual. Black Ritual consists of Chuck Calebro on vocals, Rick Spitzer on guitar, Gary Rackley on drums, Andy Pope on guitar and Eddie "Erock" Cousins on bass. Since the band became complete in mid 2006 they have taken the local metal scene and made it enjoyable again. With power driven vocals, insane guitars, haunting bass, intense drumming, and an amazing stage presence, Black Ritual is a completely addictive band. Packing out shows at some of the Carolinas most well known venues such as Tremont Music Hall ( Charlotte, N.C.), Amos' Southend (Charlotte, N.C.), The Money (Rock Hill, S.C.), and The Milestone (Charlotte, N.C.), GroundZero (Spartanburg, S.C.) to name a few, they know how to captivate the metal scene any where they go. The members of Black Ritual are all about writing music and playing intense live shows. They have proven to be a crowd favorite.
