BLACKOUT EN ASBURY 18/12

Blackout is born on the 2007 year, on Buenos Aires, Argentina. Guitar player Leandro Fernandez and drummer Damian Catapano, after leaving the death metal band Nequicia, start a new musical project, now focused on rock music. Adding first bass player Gonzalo Guglielmo, and then singer Nicolas Cabrera Aranda (formerly Acid Rain, Damnation, etc.), the bands style comes clearer: the hard rock includes much of a funk groove; vocal melodies now own the songs. Blackout soon decides to record some material. So on June 2007 the band records 3 songs at Lorihens Emiliano Obregons Virtual Studio. This EPs songs show Blackout musical direction and a very versatile band. Influenced by classic rock, but with a powerful and modern sound, and daring to the musical experimentation.
August, 2007 was Blackouts live show debut. The band then continued playing live all over Buenos Aires and Argentina.
Now with the addition of Eduardo AcuÃ±a as the new bass player, Blackout is committed to the rehearsal of new songs.
Planning on recording their debut CD, Blackout is ready to keep on growing and find their own place on the rock scene.
