Black Market Radio’s founding members Peter Cornell and Keith Mannino met in 2000 in NYC and discovered they shared an equal intensity in drive and focus: to create, produce and perform diverse hard rock sounds. Cornell, a Seattle native, and Mannino, a Manhattanite, shared a kindred spirit, and decided to collaborate.-- Combining their diverse musical influences and natural musical talents, the two began to write music and lyrics, bringing to life their interpretation of the way progressive composition should sound. Their New York City recording studio Red Sky is the place where guitarist/singer/songwriter Cornell and bassist/guitarist/songwriter Mannino began jamming and combining their melodic talents and energies. -- In late 2003, the duo began recording Black Market Radio’s debut album. In early 2004, the album was finished after many hours and late nights spent in the studio defining the album’s edgy, often dark energy and pulse. -- Mannino and Cornell headed the engineering and production, then enlisted Lenny Kravitz’s engineer Matt Knobel to tighten things up.-- Seattle music scene afficanados may recognize Peter Cornell, a Seattle native, for his work with Inflatable Soule, the early 90’s folk/grunge band.-- Mannino has played in several bands throughout his career, and recorded an album for Epic Records in the mid 90’s at A&M Studios with band Shadowbox produced by Ed Stasium.-- Recent additions to Black Market Radio include guitarist Jayson Filyaw and drummer John Hummel. -- Filyaw has toured the United States with rock group Quick Kill Formula opening for bands such as Clutch and Sworn Enemy.-- John Hummel has played on numerous records and has done several European Tours. -- Contact: KeithBMR@aol.com-- Management: TMG Music 201.906.6919 or giblintodd@hotmail.com-- Black Market Radio (c)ALL RIGHTS RESERVED & TRADEMARKED
