BLACK DEATH

Black Death started in may 2004 in Herenthout (Belgium) with four friends, Ben Heylen (vocals) , Glenn Nijs (Bass) , Glenn Peeters (guitar) , Ruben Mylemans (drums).
After a few rehearsals Ben Heylen stopped singing because he thought he couldnt sing. A month of intensive searching, we had found a new singer, an old friend of BD, Simon Verstappen. He never sang before but he learned the techniques fast.
About 2 Years later we were thinking to extend the band with a second guitar player. So Ruben went on his quest for a second guitar on a few gigs nearby our hometown. After a few gigs he met a really motivated guitar player with the right style of music, his name was Sander Hermans, a really funny guy from olen.
Another 3 months further we were forced to kick our bass player (glenn nijs) out of the band because he had problems playing the music. So again after a few months of intensive searching and auditions, we found a pretty talented bass player , he actually played guitar but he really wanted to join the band , so he bought himself a bass guitar and started to practise.
After playing a few gigs , a lot of people came to ask to buy our demo so we started to record it in Rubens basement with a small (but professional) recording machine. The demo is called after the last song on the demo , The next level of aggression
