Black Circus Tarantula formed in May 2004 when Roberta, bass player of Sunglasses After Dark, joined Claudio and Bizio that, by the time, were working on the first songs as DeBeers. A few days after the band was born a small rock festival took place in Rome. That was a good enough excuse for the band to start playing live, proposing a raw version of some songs. The sound is punknroll, immediate and direct, and in November the band records its first EP. From then on gigs start in most clubs of Rome, some local radios start playing the EP and a TV station broadcasts a funny studio live. In June 2005 Davide (aka The Niro) joins the band at the drums. With four members (and two guitars) the sound becomes more dynamic and structured, an indie influence rise up but the rocknroll remains the same. In August the band records its second EP. ***************************************************************** I Black Circus Tarantula nascono a Maggio2004 quando Roberta,bassista dei SunglassesAfterDark,si unisce a Claudio e Bizio che in quel periodo stanno lavorando come DeBeers ai primi pezzi. Il pretesto per suonare dal vivo viene gi pochi giorni dopo la nascita del gruppo in un festival "domestico" dove presentano le versioni grezze di alcuni brani. Il suono iniziale punk'n'roll molto immediato ad a Novembre registrano il primo demo. Iniziano quindi i concerti un p in tutti i locali di Roma e c' pure la soddisfazione di qualche passaggio radiofonico e di una "divertente" apparizione televisiva. A Giugno2005 la formazione viene integrata dall'ingresso di Davide (aka TheNiro)che diventa subito parte insostituibile del gruppo. In quattro (e con due chitarre) il suono diventa pi dinamico e strutturato, esce fuori forse qualche influenza indie, pur rimanendo essenzialmente rock'n'roll.
