Well I've been writing and recording since I was 9 years old. Just finished a new CD called "Overdue". This CD, like my others, was recorded entirely by me in my home studio. I play all the instruments and do all the engineering. I like all kinds of music and I think my music reflects that. Later! -Billy

Hi Billy.. I'm the one that "critiqued" your idol submission "Sing Out Loud" and I've listened to some of your other stuff. I really think you should be on top of your game. You really have a great gift and I'm proud that I had the chance to listen to your stuff in this intimate situation. "Looking At Me" on this page for example is so unique and fresh with creativity. Love that song and I'm glad you posted it for download. I was going to throw in a jab about the banjo and ask why you didn't play it in the submission (because I noticed it in your photo), then I listened to "Looking At Me" and I bet I've played that tune 5 times since yesterday. I hope to turn a lot of people on to your stuff, I hope you WIN the competition, and you have success in everything you do. You deserve it. Thanks for the great tunes. Hi Billy, I saw a review of your Idol song on the Idol board but couldn't find your initial post to leave you a private message there. So I took the time to register here... I've listened to maybe a hundred songs?? Over the past few days...I wrote a few which I like and I have some friends who write too but aside from these few, I haven't heard anything that really hit me in the heart. Your song did and I just wanted you to know that. I love the song for it's simplicity and your vocals are superb...Reflective of the melody and lyrics. I've been a singer/songwriter for 30 years and I don't give rave reviews like this often.... You are blessed with much talent and I wish you the best in all of your musical endeavors. Cheers, Steve Robinson Apr 04
