PureVolume

Thought it was about time for an update from me, seeing as though I have been a little quiet recently. Over the Summer I've taken a step back from playing shows to concentrate on writing new material and recording the debut album. Back in July I went into the studio with my long-time drummer Sam who very kindly offered to produce the CD, however after completing a couple of rough mixes (which you can hear on my page) he has now left for Uni. In August I decided that I would produce the album myself and have now started the pre-production process. Im hoping that the album will be finished, along with new promo photography, in time for the New Year :) Once the album is done I then intend to head out in 2009 and play as many shows as I can, taking my guitar, tunes and the album with me. In the meantime I have decided that I am going to release a collection of demos and live performances on a limited release CD and as a download. The collection is called 'Picking Up The Pieces' and will ba available very, very soon. Im just trying to finalise all the details :) The physical CD will be available to buy through the official website: www.billyjonmusic.co.uk. I'll keep you all posted.
