Big City Kids (Los Angeles , Ca natives) have developed quite a stir in the music industry by bringing forth a unique blend of electro-rock and creating a visual that defies your wisdom of a live band.

The group consists of 4 very young adults that have shared and experienced life on the road throughout the United States and parts of Canada. When asked what we should expect to see from them in the near future they replied â€œ well, we just finished recording what has been exciting our fans on the internet and what not, so we will be on the road non-stop throughout the rest of the year and we wont stop until we are forced back into the studio. But we have enough music to keep everyone dancing for a while, so weâ€™re just ready to party!â€ states BCK front man EMERSON.

We discussed how they came up with their line up, and discovered that while they were developing their material, they learned that they were in no need of a drummer, enter their dj â€œI was just spinnin the beats for my broâ€™s and understood that I would just be laying down the cool effects and sounds while they went to town on the rest of the instruments, but after we broke free from the studio, we discovered that we didnâ€™t need a drummer, heck, our beats were packing enough heat as it is with our sound system, so I assumed the back bone position and hold down the fort with the beats and effects.

It worked out quite nice.â€ Comments FYJY. In case youâ€™re trying to paint a mental picture, just picture guitarist LECARISON* and bassist SWOOP in traditional position on stage with all the neat key boards around them, FyJy set up with a wall of speakers and dj gear in the drummerâ€™s spot, and Emerson with his guitar at times, and other gear on and off while singing the tunes. By the way, they are more intense than you could imagine live. You will not be able to deny the originality once you experience this set. BCK has recently signed their first major publishing deal and will be on the road making believers out of anyone in their path.
