We are a Alternative/Pop Punk band from Kutztown, Pa. There happens to be another profile on purevolume that says we are a jam band/rockabilly/bluegrass band. that is not us. Please spread the word that that is the wrong profile. you will find the correct songs and booking information on the profile that you are currently looking at. Here's a little bit about us!

Better On Thursday is poised to take control of the music scene in the upcoming months. Their music gives both kids and adults a chance to stay eighteen forever. Dueling vocals, catchy lyrics, explosive pop-punk guitar harmonies, smooth bass, and dynamic drumming set apart Better On Thursday from any other band.

The unique sound of Better On Thursday rang out at this summer's Warped Tour. Their song, Young and Stupid, was featured on Danimal Records' Compilation Cd along with songs by Hailfax and Straitlaced. By obtaining their own studio, these guys are ready to produce EP'S and gain exposure both on a local and national level.

Better On Thursday has played with a variety of different bands with different sounds. They have played street punk shows, hard rock shows, pop-punk shows, ska shows, as well as screamo punk shows. It is their goal to remain in the Alternative/Pop-Punk genre and they are ready to make a name for themselves among the fans and the other bands who make up that world. Better On Thursday has graced the stage of such venues as; The Silo Night Club (Reading, PA), Crocodile Rock (Allentown, PA), The Sherman Theater (Stroudsburg, PA), The Bean Cellar (Kutztown, PA), Hamilton Street Cafe (Bound Brook, NJ), and many more. Valencia (I Surrender Records), Straitlaced, and Geronimo are just a few of the amazing talents that Better On Thursday is glad to have shared a stage with.

So how do these four young men write such powerful, catchy tunes? Stan (21) usually starts by playing a guitar riff that had previously been thought of but never before attempted prior to that moment. Meanwhile, Jason (25) throws in some catchy guitar harmonies and pitches to compliment what is being played. Once the guitar is written, Stan and Jason work hard to find just the right words to fit into the theme of the song. While all of this chaos is taking place, Brandon (22) and Sean (21) sit off to the side and eat a bag of chips until it their turn to play. Sean adds a smooth bass line filled with fluid chord changes to accompany the riff's progression. Meanwhile, Brandon beats relentlessly on every drum and cymbal until he finds a beat that is suitable to both him and the rest of the band. Bitter breakups, high school memories, and growing up are common themes in a Better On Thursday song.

Look for these guys to explode into the Alternative/Pop-Punk scene in the upcoming months with a powerful self released EP and a reach for the top mentality.
