The Future Is Now...
It all started way back, when Mik and Kris left their previous band in pursuit of something fresh and serious in summer 2005. They decided to get together and have a band session for ideas and new songs when Kris decided to call his friend Eddy. This was the start of Better Left Alone'. After a few band practices all was going well and they decided to start the search for a second guitarist on a local musician's forum. From this they found Nick, who was already good friends with Eddy from college and shared the same passion as the other guys, so he fitted in perfectly. The name Better Left Alone' came from Nick when he and Eddy wanted to start a band but nothing came of it, so we decided to use that name for our new project. The band went from August 2005 to May 2006 without a bassist, many had auditioned for the band but nobody seemed to fit in with what we wanted to do. But as we played gigs and written songs without a bassist we were starting to get noticed on the music scene and more people became interested in joining our band. We auditioned our good friend and fan of the band Calum and he was hired straight away, he fits in well and completed our line-up. Better Left Alone describe themselves as an honest band who wears their hearts on their sleeves, with each song telling a story about their experiences in life, but also feel many people can also relate to the words they are saying. We have played shows with many local bands and some bigger ones like: Inflight and Three Quarters

In September 2006, Better Left Alone recorded their 1st EP When Things Should Be Said and Done' at Soundhouse Studios in Liverpool, Recorded and Mixed by Paul O'Neil' the EP has won the band many fans and received lots of positive reviews.

Better Left Alone is compared to as Emotional Metal' stemming from their emotional lyrical content to the distorted guitars. Fan's favourites include January 1st, Broken Words in Cursive and Comeback to Me.

Better Left Alone continue to write new material and play shows to win over new fans and to get their music heard by new ears.

In Sept 2007 CJ decided to leave the band, Better Left Alone plan to continue and re-invent themselves like never before... Stay Tuned!

Better Left Alone are currently preparing to record their sophomore EP in summer 2008.
