Hailing originally from West (by God) Virginia. Attended WVU then moved to eastern Kentucky to be a documentary filmmaker, then moved to California to pursue an electronics career.
Started out singing into my dad's dictating machine and playing cardboard boxes after seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Rockin' in the garage in the 60's. A bluegrass injection in the 70's gave way to country-rock bands in the 80's.
Wielding guitar, mandolin, piano, drum samples and bass.
As C.S. Lewis said, "The book or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came through them was longing. They are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never visited."
