Members: Ryan, Darren, Isaac
Anthemic hooks and pop-sensible vocals are the driving force behind "You Could be Free," Bensonwells' newest release. With hopeful lyrics and thundering guitars, the members create an appealing cross-genre sound even to the most refined ear. Catch a live show to see this group's true colors!

Sing-able melodies and hook-filled riffs have been the cornerstone for Bensonwells from the beginning. Their goal is to help the listener catch a zeal for life that the members of the group have shared.
Ryan Paul, the songwriter and frontman, started Bensonwells as a solo project in high school but quickly realized the value of the creative minds that surrounded him. Within a couple years the group had gained an identity that extended beyond a singer/songwriter with backing band. The full-length self-titled album was released independently and made a mark on the Minneapolis music scene beyond what the initial expectations were. With another round of copies printed the group also put out a six-song EP entitled "You Could be Free," which showcases more mature songwriting and production.
The common thread for the members of the band is their belief that God is there waiting for us to connect with Him. Although everybody in the band is a Christian, they do not label themselves as a "Christian band." With songs titled "There's No Letting Go" and "Never Alone," Bensonwells encourages the listener to look for God in a real way. Their live performances showcase the reality of their faith through the relationships they have built with their fans.
The group has been known to play venues of all types from youth groups and churches to the clubs and bars in the Minneapolis area-- the music knows no bounds. Listeners of all ages and walks of life can find a gem in Bensonwells' repertoire spanning the sing-a-long melody of "You Were Right" to the thought-provoking lyrics from the title track of "You Could Be Free."
All of this is only the beginning for them as they set their sights on bigger goals. With plans to release another disc within the next year Bensonwells is aiming to make an impact with their craft, and have a blast doing it.
