I just spent a couple days in Michigan with my friend who will be moving to Hondouras for at least a year doing full-time missions!!! She is an amazing friend with a heart for Jesus and the lost in this world.

I am so impressed with people who hear the call from the Lord and walk in faith the journey that is before them. It isn't easy, but the rewards are great. I keep hearing "Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you." I used to think that the "added unto you" part always meant some sort of monetary gain!! I am seeing in my own life that the "added" stuff is joy, peace, patience, kindness and self control...all the fruits of the spirit!!! Those far outweigh a couple bucks that may only last a while. God is good and faithful. I am encouraged to fix my eyes on HIM and set my agenda to HIS kingdom and not my own.

The Lord layed down some important foundations here in Michigan for worship. Please pray for this area as we WILL be coming here to lead worship at some point. Pray for the hearts of the believers here to be unified under the blood of Christ!

Dev and I leave in a couple days for Iowa. His cousin is getting married and we will be doing some music there as well. I am primed for some sweet farm action!!! Bring on the cows!
