Beastie Boys are a group of hardcore / hip-hop County, New York. Its members are Michael Diamond (Mike D), Adam Yauch (MCA) and Adam Horovitz (Ad-rock). All three members are of Jewish descent. Following these 3 members is Michael Schwartz (Mix Master Mike) - the current DJ (replacing Wendell Fite - DJ Hurricane)
The Beastie Boys were the first white rap band successful and one of the few projects of the early days of hip-hop that still enjoy major success. His rap, influenced by rock and punk, has had a significant impact on artists, both inside and outside the hip-hop.
