Welcome to our Purevolume Website!! We are excited to announce that our newest album, "If You Were Me" is ready for release. We will be having CD Release parties at The Double Door in Chicago on May 8th, and Here in Michigan at The Magic Bag in Ferndale on May 21st. We have great things planned for both nights, so please make sure to come out. This will be our 3rd album in three years, and we are really looking forward to sharing it with you!

Many exciting things have happened to us in the past few months...We were recently featured on many network television shows, including Melrose Place, One Tree Hill, Bones, and ABC's The Gates. Also, we were lucky enough to be a part of Josh Radnor's (How I Met Your Mother) writing/directing debut: Happythankyoumoreplease. This film won the 2010 Sundance Audience Award, and it will be out in theaters across the U.S. in March 2011. We can also be heard on the upcoming season of Rookie Blue playing on ABC and in Canada. We also have some fine people helping us to set up major tour dates all over the place starting in July. We are excited to see what these next few months hold, and we hope to share them with you...See you at the Double Door and The Magic Bag!

Bear Lake is set to release their third album in as many years on May 21st. This new album, "If You Were Me" sees Bear Lake take a more pointed retrospective in their lyrics while still maintaining the diversity that they are known for. "If You Were Me" is 12 songs that look deep into the life and development of Bear Lake's members from multiple perspectives. This album will appeal to anyone who has ever taken the time to look back on their life and reflect on the events that made them who they are. The album will be available in all major stores and media outlets starting May 21st.
