played a fun show at niagara with my label mates The Killtakers and Richard Bacchus. We shared the bill with this crazy girl Beaut. She was in those Matthew Barney movies The Cremaster. She drew a pretty good crowd including the cremaster himself.
then i went to LA. That girl from Grey's Anatomy sat beside us at lunch and my friend Charlotte got excited. Did nothing for me, sorry miss anatomy.
In Montreal now watching Letterman before crash and burning.
spent time today learning Dorian mode in E. fascinating stuff zzzzzzzzzzzzz

album should finally be out in a few weeks, available digitally pretty much everywhere., itunes, youtunes, whatever. not sure why it takes 10 weeks to put out a record digitally but it feels old school so I like it.

Just back from Jamaica where our friend Andy invited us to come hang out with Little Feat - a jam band he managers. It was pretty rad even though I've never listened to a jam band before due to my hipy allergies. Across the way was Hedonism 2, a lovely little resort where fat German tourists go to take off their clothes in front of each other. Curiosity got the best of us so we walked over and took a look. nude volleyball, mattresses for public displays of affection, stirpper poles and more chlorine stench than a public pool in the hot of summer. Very odd, we left.
Last time we went to Jamaica we stayed in Port Antonio where we made friends with the locals and got to know some real people. This was more of a whitey white white retreat. Their was pretty much no interaction with the outside world except when I took a taxi to a local bar to drop off some vinyl I had smuggled in for a friend who knew the locals. Negril is pretty rad. What's the name of that guy who sings about margheritas ? He owns restaurants down there, beet red people seem to like them. Locals seemed to like my friends bar more. I think i agree.
