"CHRONOLOGY", Reference Points......1952 Jan 07, Patrick born in Tours (France) -1969 June, first public appearance as singer, in St Avertin (near Tours), with among others, two friends on guitar, Pierre-Marie Pailler & Xavier Lavoix. They introduce him to the delights of playing Rock music....... 1969 Nov, Patrick starts to learn to play guitar, and in december he plays with a band, "Hypothese", for six months. During that period, his new friends introduce him to the British Blues Music. -1970 end, Patrick joins the rock band "Amalgama", but for only one gig, in Montbeliard, supporting: "Ange". -1971 mid, Patrick forms his first own band "No Man's Land", the first line up is: Jacky Esteban (bass), Bernard Cheze (drums) Gerard Marteau (guitar), & Patrick Ondet (keyboards), they play around Tours at some "Pop-Sessions". In 1972 beginning, new line-up, without G. Marteau, and Erwin Wagner replace B. Cheze on drums. April 29th, they play their first gig in Esvres-sur-Indre (37), supporting David Allen band: "Gong".

1972 mid, Patrick plays his first professional gigs with "variety bands", (until 1976 mid). At this time, he also meets musicians Jean-Claude Landoni (flutist & singer) & Max Wroblewski (blues-harp) and he plays with them in some short-lived rock or blues bands. -1974, Patrick and Jean-Claude Landoni, decide to work together, and compose a lot of rock songs, they record some of them, but none were released, moreover the tapes, to date, are lost...... -1975 end, Patrick decides on set up a new blues-rock band, "Gold Rush B. Band", with Michel "Mitch" Pasquier on drums, Jean-Jacques "Yaya" Gerbe on Bass, and Babeth (Mitch's girlfriend) & Martine (Patrick's girlfriend) on Backing vocal. For some gigs, the bluesman Benoit blue Boy joins the band. But, a few months later, the band splits in april 1976.

1976 mid, Patrick, attracted to the Chicago blues music sound more and more, forms a blues band, "Deep Feeling Blues Band", with his old friend Pierre-Marie Pailler on 2nd guitar. Max Wroblewski (harp & guitar), Didier Fort (drums) and Pierre Egea (bass) join the band. -1977, during the six first months, Deep Feeling plays in many events, but without P.M. Paillier. He decides to leave the band at the beginning of this year. In September 26th, Deep Feeling is recorded live during its last gig. In 1978, a part of this recording is released on one face of a double LP produced by "Touraine artists & musicians association". -1977 end, a new "Deep Feeling Blues Band" is formed by Patrick (lead guitar & vocal). Line-up: Richard Villa (lead vocal & guit.), Philippe Evrart (harp), Jean-Pierre Fabish (drums), William "Bill" Grenouilleau (bass). They play together in many gigs until 1978 end. -In the early 80's, Patrick is attracted to contemporany jazz music more and more, and he forms, with guitarist Pierre-Marie Pailler an acoustic guitars duo. Together, from 1980 to 1982, they play in many places.

1980 december, moreover Patrick meets, in Martinique (Fort-de-France) at "the international guitar festival", American jazz guitarist Larry Coryell. In 1981, they see each other again on several occasions and in 1982 april, they play on stage together during some concerts perform in France. -1983 beginning, Patrick makes acquaintance of blues guitarist and singer Christian "Greeny" Chatel. They decide to re-form "Deep Feeling Blues Band". Line-up is: Patrick (lead guitar & lead vocal) & Christian (bass & lead vocal), with drummer Thierry Dupre (Patrick played with him in some jam-sessions during 1982). The band appears live in many gigs throughout year 1983, and, in june, records two songs for a single. It's released in the fall on the "New Rose" label.

1984 beginning, Jean-Pierre Fabish replace T. Dupre on drums, and in april, it's William "Bill" Grenouilleau's turn to replace Christian Chatel on bass. For some concerts, Patrick with this new "Deep Feeling blues band" gives support to blues singer & guitarist Patrick Verbeke and singer & pianist Alan Jack except for few dates where Jean-Jacques "Yaya" Gerbe is on bass and Thierry Guignard on drums. Moreover, in spring 1984, Patrick enter studio to record his own songs with a view to releasing his first solo LP, and for the first time he sings in French!!!! Nine songs are recorded, but only two will be released into a single (under the name of "Patrick Cault") on the "Scooter" label, but almost two years later, in 1986 november!!!!! So, seven songs, to date, stay unreleased.....-1985, in spring, Patrick begins to rehearsed with a new band which comprises now nine musicians. Line-up: J.P. Fabish (drums), W. Grenouilleau (bass), Olivier Rainer & Jose Larraceleta (guitars), Richard Roquin (harp), Bernard Tessier, Babeth Eudes & Maybeline on Backing Vocals. Patrick, with this new band, appears live in concerts during june, then takes a three month break before undertaking rehearsals with his band in october. Same line-up as three months previously, except R. Roquin replaced by Philippe Evrart on harp and Herve Devolder (piano) & Jack Henry (sax) join the band. In november, they play together a warm-up show (in Bretagne), and in the 10th of january 1986, Patrick and his band play their first official live appearance in Tours, and then, continue to tour throughout this year until november 7th.....

1989 beginning, Patrick decides to form a new band. Line-up: Pierre Ceccaldi (guitar & backing vocal), Carlos Ribeiro (drums), Olivier Dubray (bass), and Isabelle Valliere (backing vocal). 1st appearance live in Tours, June 13th, at "Le Bateau Ivre". On this occasion, Patrick invites some musiciens close to him like guitarists Michel Lelong and Gilles Charrault, or who played with him during these last twenty years like Christian "Greeny" Chatel and Max Wroblewski. And also, among them, a new friend, a drummer and singer from England, Martin Rock. After this show, they decide to form a rock band together, and it's called "Martin Rock Band".

Patrick plays with "Martin Rock Band" from 1990 to 2003 and he also takes part in the recording of the first CD of this band: "Random Emotion", released in 1997. At the same time, from 1990 to 1995, Patrick continues playing with his own band. Same line-up as 1989, except O. Dubray replaced by William Grenouilleau on bass, and some musicians like François Benest (piano & backing vocal) or Max Wroblewski (harp) are invitated to join the band for a few gigs.......-March 1991, Patrick with this band enter studio to record their 1st CD "Rock n' roll d'accord". They record nine songs composed by Patrick (Bernard Tessier gives him a hand for some lyrics), and once again he sings in French. This CD is released on June 21st.....

1999, Patrick decides to re-form "Deep Feeling". Line-up: William Grenouilleau (bass), Carlos Ribeiro (drums), Babeth Eudes (lead & backing vocals) and Pierre Ceccaldi (guitar & backing vocal), but in 2000, he decides to leave the band, Patrice Gillet (he also plays guitar with Martin Rock Band at that time) replaces him on guitar, and also plays harp with Deep Feeling.......

From 2002, Patrick is now very attracted by Country Music, and in 2003 he decides to form a country band "C.C.Rider", and very quickly it becomes one of the bands the most popular in France. From 2003 to the end of 2007, Patrick with C.C.Rider plays in more over three hundred and twenty country concerts or festivals. During this four years, two cd are realesed; "Howdy" in 2004, and "Open Spaces" in 2006. For this cd, Patrick records his first country song of his own composition: "Gone To Ride"....... In 2007, though he is still playing with C.C.Rider, Patrick decides to set-up a new country band with two musicians who played with him in the past: William Genouilleau on bass and Carlos Ribeiro on drums. Patrick plans to play in concert with this new band at the beginning of the next year. A name is found for this new band, it'll be called "Range Heroes". They start to rehearse, and quickly two other musicians join the band, François Vesque (acoustic guitar & backing vocal) and Anne-Sophie Roullin (fiddle); she has just joined C.C.Rider, but she decides to follow Patrick in his future band. During this year, Patrick and this new band also do some recording session in anticipation of a cd realese planned for the beginning of the next year. In november and december, Patrick & Range heroes play some warm-up shows and in the 31st of december they play their first official live appearance in Coutras (Gironde) for the New Year's Eve. Since then, Patrick with Range Heroes continue playing their country music all over France. 2008 february, CD realese: "Here We Go", and once again a new Patrick's country song, "Code Of The West", is included in this new cd.
In 2010, Patrick is now on tour with a new band, "Winks"...
