Hailing from the relaxing atmosphere of the Central Coast of California, Bare Feet brings the roots of reggae, harmonic rock, and jumpy hip-hop to push the rhythmic melody of their vocals. In 2006, vocalists/guitarists/bassists Leif Garrovillas, Justin Davidson, and Jacob Rocha first brought their ideas together in Orcutt, CA. Gaining musical influences from a wide variety of artists, including 311, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley, Incubus, Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, and much much more, Bare Feet is open to share their music with whoever is willing to hear.

Justin Davidson's love for skillful music is clearly evident in his guitar riffs. His style is a mash-up created by listening to a wide variety of music, ranging from 311 to Sublime and to classics like Rush and Queen. He also gets vocal practice by doing imitations of many different movie and cartoon characters. Jacob Rocha always finds a way to stick his melodies to your mind, whether it be a catchy hook, a jumpy bass line, or a smooth guitar riff. J Roach is always looking to have a good time regardless of what the occassion is. Leif Garrovillas loves to keep the crowd involved during live performances. Since his first performances at the age of 7, he has found a home on the stage. James Timmons' rythmic feet have everything a person needs to keep their body moving. His ear for music and musician's nature puts him at another level when it comes to sound, making beats, and playing multiple instruments. On occasions, Bare Feet likes to switch things up with help from Encrypted Logic: turntablism by Gabe Mahinan and MPC masterpieces by Ryan B.

Since the band has started, they gained popularity upon the residents of the Central Coast and beyond. They have played shows in many different areas of California, including San Luis Obispo's Downtown Brew and Santa Barbara's Velvet Jones. But in Bare Feet's eyes, nothing sparks the natural high besdies playing a good old house party. Bare Feet has shared the stage with bands such as Tomorrow's Bad Seeds, Rootz Underground, Anthony B, Sashamon, The B Foundation, Natural Incense, Klockwyze, and Through The Roots.

Bare Feet has recorded many songs in many different places. Early recordings started with a simple microphone and a 4-track, and moved on to home studios in friend's garages. The band has also recorded with Terry Lawless, Keyboard Technician for U2, who has many awards for recording a number of major artists (Janet Jackson, Cher, Boston, Chicago, and David Bowie to name a few). Recently, Bare Feet has been working with Kip Stork and Avalon Studios in San Luis Obispo. Kip Stork has engineering credits for bands including Sublime, Green Day, Bob Hope, Social Distortion, No Doubt, Fishbone and a lot more.
