Banana Dynamite is the stage/pseudo name of Sung Kim, a 21-year-old fruit-loving electro dj/producer who currently resides in Montreal, Canada. The inspiration for this rather peculiar name came when Sung was watching a group of chimpanzees fighting for a banana on Discovery Channel while listening to Boys Noizeâ€™s Lava Lava.

Banana Dynamiteâ€™s music holds nothing back; embracing heavy, pounding beats and ripping synth guitars, it makes its listener head-bang, rather than simply nod along. An avid fan of heavy metal acts like Gojira and Lamb of God, Banana Dynamite wishes there were more moshpits in electro gigs â€“ while there are no double-bass mayhems to be found in his music, rockâ€™s energy and heaviness persists.
