Criada em meados do de 2007 em Santos-SP, a banda Balaclava sofreu, inicialmente, influencias de bandas como Los Hermanos, Arctic Monkeys e The Strokes, entre outras. Ainda em 2007 a banda fez dois shows tocando apenas musicas covers dessas e de outras bandas.
Em 2008 algumas musicas comecaram a ser compostas e os integrantes pretendem gravar uma demo em breve.
A formacao e a mesma desde o inicio: BH (bateria), Franca (Guitarra/Voz), Pimenta (Guitarra/Voz) e Victor (Guitarra/Voz).

Created in the middle of the year 2007 in Santos, SP, Brazil, the band Balaclava was influenced by bands like Los Hermanos, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and others. In the end of that year, the band made two live performances playing only songs of these and other bands.
In 2008 some songs were composed and the members are planning to record a demo CD soon.
The formation of the band is the same since the beggining: BH (Drums), Franca (Guitar/Vocals), Pimenta (Guitar/Vocals) and Victor (Bass/Vocals).
